The line of Sheary/Sheahan/Hornqvist is a good solid hard working line. They are overachievers.
One complaint I have seen over and over on this board for quite some time now, is the lack of commitment on this team. All three have their shortcomings. Effort and desire are not something you can complain about for these three.
Crosby's incredible goal and will power aside, the third line was the differance last night. |

Be interesting to see what happens if that line proves inseparable while Brassard is out. Reuniting Brassard and Kessel doesn’t seem like an issue. Feel like you could put ZAR or Simon on that left wing would probably work. I just wonder who’d play RW with Malkin. |

Easy now. A few Yankee fans, myself included here. Should be a banner year for the Bombers. |

The beauty is that you can run guys up and down the line up. As far as next year, all should return and you put Sprong in the mix. Competition is a good thing. |

I've been saying for quite sometime to keep them together. (Sheary-Shea-Horny; Horny SheShe line) |

Poor Hall. Tried to be the hero again in OT, got wrecked.
Meanwhile, the pirates are already looking at acquiring Crosby |

That’s my thought that if last night’s third line proves inseparable, you put Phil back with Geno and ride the hot hand with the bottom two lines and give more ice time to whatever unit is on fire that night. Might be for the best. Malkin and The Phil are really, really (frank)ing good together. |

Baseball sucks?
I would argue football is way more boring. Everyone standing around for 40 seconds waiting on a 5 second play. And the number of commercials is pathetic.
Baseball ANY day over football! basketball just plain sucks |

It’s worth a shot. I think you can toggle the bottom six wingers to see what fits best.
I only put Rust or Horny on the 4th if Sully starts rolling that line like he did with Cullen. |

This would be great. It's a good balance of offense and defense on each line. Unfortunately, I think Sullivan is going to insert Kuhnhackl or Rowney (when ready) for a PK role.
I tell you, Sheahan sure looked good again with an expanded role. Just like before the Brassard trade. It goes to show you how effective he could be with good linemates. |
